Supporting your infrastructure strategies in the emerging world
About Jerome Cachau
With 20+ years of experience in the implementation of complex projects both on the operator's and investor's side (Aboitiz, Kapsch, APRR, Vinci) but also for development banks (World Bank, AFD), I have developed a multidisciplinary competence in defining strategies, analysing and modelling opportunities, managing international teams and rolling out projects.
A generalist by nature, I have worked in multiple environments, including five years in South East Asia, and six years in the USA, in sectors as diverse as transport, water and airports.
My background is in both engineering and political science (Ecole des Ponts Paris Tech, Sciences-Po Paris). Passionate about the topic of economic development and how infrastructure can contribute, I am the editor of a publication on the same issue, as well as the host of a seminar on urban infrastructure in a Master's program of Sciences-Po Paris.
A French citizen with roots in the Basque country, I have managed multicultural teams, including for five years in an emerging country. I speak five languages, of which three fluently at a professional level (English, German, French).
Based in Luxembourg, a central location in Europe, I can easily travel where my support is required.
